My first insight into photography was working at a processing lab developing photographs at a camera store. At the same time, I began working as a freelance photographer in the music industry, documenting some of the bands in the Bandwagon scene of the early 00s in and around Liverpool.

Later, I studied graphic design and illustration at Liverpool John Moores University. From there, I moved to London and worked as a film compositor for a visual effects company in Soho, before moving to Vancouver for 6 months, continuing to work for a similar company.

I’m now 42 and have never really had a particular style or format I’ve stuck to, or am known for. While I am interested in experimenting, my main artistic goal is to document the experiences of my own life and that includes my friends, family and people around me.
