In this exhibition, I want to show different phases of my artistry using collage. I am moving from more traditional methods using paper, and mixing these traditional techniques with painting and digital art to explore different textures on canvas and papers. This mixture of techniques expresses my point of view of the reality of the world and my personal feelings and imagination.

I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. I have always been surrounded by artistic influences within my family; a bunch of ordinary people who were also actors and artists.

In 1995, I began working as a photographer’s assistant in a fashion studio being part of many shows and various fashion events.

Later, in 2001, I wrote and participated in presenting a programme on M.T.V Brazil Television.

Between 2002 and 2003, I was involved in producing live jam music, interviews and humour in a summer program for a coastal radio station.

In 2004, I met the artist William Duncan and the Brazilian artist Ilka Lemos who encouraged me to pursue my artistic flair.

In 2009, I moved to a small town in Rio de Janeiro in a state called Paraty, where I opened a Gallery/Studio with William. Together, we experienced life on the coast close to the Atlantic Forest, explored the local culture, and lived and worked alongside other international artists from many cities and countries. It was here that I studying technical boat building.

In 2014, I moved to Bristol, and, later, in 2016, to Liverpool where I began to get new and different influences in my work from the British culture.

Since then, I’ve continued to travel and have visited many British cities. I have continued to have adventures abroad traveling to Portugal, France, and Indonesia.

All these experiences are reflected in my art and are expressed with passion in my writing, music, painting and photography. My art expresses not only what I think and feel about life but my work is ultimately an expression of my soul.
